DIRECTOR // ERIK ANDERSON
Moving pictures are a universal language that can win hearts and minds and ultimately change behavior. Compliment that mentality with visually arresting imagery and you enable films to evolve both authentically and honestly. Look, in short, I’m in service of good storytelling. Plus, it’s a ton of fun.
Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with the likes of Yamaha, Firestone, Ohio Lottery, Microsoft and that of multiple non-profit organizations and have been awarded Clios, Effies, YDAs, AICPs and other accolades to which I'm grateful.
I'm also currently working on that of some feature and television projects in addition to that of two feature length documentaries:
STILL HISSIN' // Set largely in the 60s and 70s, it’s an in depth rags to riches tale about legendary dragster racer, Don "The Snake" Prudhomme and his place within a blossoming, yet turbulent world of professional drag racing.
OUR FISTS ARE BLACK // A timely story about what some largely consider the Jackie Robinsons of the Martial Arts, the inimitable B.K.F. (Black Karate Federation) and their struggle to place the first black International Grand Champion atop the podium amid a an unforgiving political and social climate.
